ALEX is the lead singer of Velvet Sidewinder. As he struggles to write his next hit, his boss dumps him with an unwanted guest in hopes that she will assist in his writing block.

CHRIS is the drummer for Velvet Sidewinder and Alex's best friend. He's more than thrilled to have a new bandmate and thinks Alex is overreacting.

DAVID is Velvet Sidewinder's manager. When his younger sister is released from rehab, the last thing he wants is to be around her. Taking advantage of Alex's writing block and his sister's past musical talents, he makes her Alex's new band and room mate.

OCTAVIA is David's eccentric younger sister. She's also Alex's new roommate and Chris's new bandmate. Not having anywhere to go after rehab and being bunked with Alex, her sadistic personality clashes with his and together they have to make things work, or risk losing their careers.
