Inspired by real people and events, the story follows Constantine XI Palaiologos(Κωνσταντίνος ΙΑ΄ Παλαιολόγος), his brothers, and the imperial court through moments of daily life, political conflict, and quiet hope during the last years of the Palaiologos Dynasty.
